Demand first

The work shaping
the next move.

We follow a selected panel of major US and Canadian telecom operators and the technology companies supporting their networks.

Roles are ranked by unique active job postings within our verified research sample in each country. Salary is context for those roles; it does not determine their rank. We retain dated observations so changes in demand can be compared over time.

Dated employer research

A useful ranking starts with verified openings.

The latest verified edition is loading. Use the country selector to explore the research.

Research began October 22, 2026. No month-to-month movement is claimed before comparable observations exist.

Each published salary will identify its source, date, country and experience level. Employer-advertised ranges and market estimates will be labelled separately.

Government wage benchmarks and projected salary guides are labelled separately from current advertised base pay. Total-compensation figures are excluded from this guide.

Skills & qualifications

What employers
are asking for.

See which skills, certifications and degrees appear in the open postings behind the displayed roles, with required and preferred qualifications shown separately.

Required Preferred

Qualifications from the job descriptions.

We show the number and share of relevant open postings requesting each qualification, together with the roles it supports and links to the evidence.

A qualification can help explain a route into a role. Its appearance in job adverts does not establish a salary premium or guarantee employment.

Openings by company

See who is hiring.

Compare verified openings across the company panel. Select a country count or a company to browse its roles and follow the employer’s application links.

Counts reflect this verified research sample. A dash means no verified entries in that country; it does not mean the company has no vacancies.

A requisition is counted once in each country. A role advertised in both the USA and Canada can appear in both columns. Company verification status and selection evidence are available in the research notes ↓.

A new hiring signal

How long do
postings stay open?

We track each posting from the first time we observe it open until we can establish that it has closed or is no longer listed.

Observed posting durationBuilding the baseline

A closed posting does not confirm a hire. It can also reflect a withdrawn, paused or replaced role.

Open postings remain ongoing observations. Their age is shown separately from the duration of closed postings.

About the research

Sources you can follow.
Claims you can check.

This research describes selected telecom employers and their supporting vendors. It is not a census of every job in the market.

01

Choose the companies.

Start with operating scale in the US and Canada. Identify supporting vendors through documented operator relationships. Starlink is included as an explicit growth exception.

See the companies and evidence ↓
02

Count the openings.

Count a unique employer requisition once per country, even when advertised in several cities. Include relevant telecom work and verify that the posting remains active.

03

Keep the comparisons clear.

Compare base pay within the same country and experience band. Distinguish required from preferred qualifications. Flag changes to company coverage before comparing months.
